All of the activities, accounts, Urbos, accessories, gadgets, characters, names, secret identities, alter egos, locations, maps, people, Urbaniacs, games, and anything else contained in the site are for you to enjoy and interact with while on the site. You are not permitted to do anything except play with them without our prior express written permission. This means you cannot sell them (for money or Urbos), give them to anyone, trade them for anything (including Urbos), or pretend you made them. To clarify what we mean by non-commercial personal web sites, you are NOT permitted to sell ads, barter for goods and/or services, offer your services, or otherwise earn money or any Urbaniac items as outlined above from ANY medium that contains our copyrighted materials.

2. Urbaniacs tries very hard to make sure that Urbaniacs.com remains a good, clean site that is enjoyable for all ages, so if you see something that you feel is inappropriate, e.g. obscene, derogatory or vulgar language, someone requesting personal information, or anything else that makes you feel uncomfortable, please report it immediately to support@urbaniacs.com and we will do our best to take care of it immediately. Please note that false reports of abuse will not be tolerated and will possibly result in your account being suspended if you are found to be abusing the reporting system.

3. If you submit something to us -- whether it be a post on our message board(s), a submission to our Chronicles, or any other type of content you post on Urbaniacs.com or send to us via any other medium whether the content is graphical or textual -- we may decide to use it on our site or other formats and mediums as we see fit. If you are under 18 years old, remember that you MUST check with your parents before submitting ANYTHING to us or posting ANYTHING to our site. By submitting any content and/or comments, you (and your parents if you are under 18) are confirming that we have the right to use the content and/or comments for ANY purpose, anywhere on the site or anywhere else throughout the Universe for all time.

5. You are only allowed to have ONE (1) account. Creating multiple accounts is not allowed and will result in all of your accounts being suspended.

6. Any attempts to access another player's account without their permission, or any attempts to get another player's password is forbidden, and will result in a permanent ban from the site. So don't try it!

7. Any violation of our Terms & Conditions may result in your account being suspended for a period to be determined solely by us. This is a free web site, and we reserve the right to prohibit the use of the site to any user at any time for any reason.

These Contest and Sweepstakes General Rules apply to all Urbaniacs, Inc. contests. They may be amended or varied from time to time by Urbaniacs, Inc.

All prizes must be redeemed within 3 months from the date of winning. After that time, unclaimed prizes will be dealt with according to legislative requirements. Urbaniacs, Inc. will not notify winners of time remaining. It is the sole responsibility of winners to collect their prize.

Winners under the age of 18 must submit clear parental/guardian approval before redeeming their prize. Failure to do so will result in your forfeiture of that prize after the redemption period expires.

Prizes are non transferable, and not redeemable for cash.

All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the winner, and Urbaniacs, Inc. excludes all warranties in connection with any prize to the extent permitted by law.

Urbaniacs, Inc., its agencies, affiliates, sponsors and representatives are not responsible for defective prizes or misuse of any prize, or for any claims, liability, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with any contest promoted by Urbaniacs, Inc.

All contestants release from, and indemnify Urbaniacs, Inc. against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in any contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

If a specified prize becomes unavailable, Urbaniacs, Inc. may substitute a replacement prize at its absolute discretion.

Urbaniacs, Inc. has the right to use publicity photos, videos and/or films, artwork, text or any other elements in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit.

By submitting anything to Urbaniacs.com in any capacity, you hereby give up any and all rights to submitted material and any likenesses, reproductions, or any claim of any type of ownership of any kind in perpetuity. Contest entries and material submitted in connection with any contest (whether in written, audio, electronic or visual form, or a combination of those) immediately becomes the property of Urbaniacs, Inc. which may use the material in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit. Copyright in any such material becomes and remains the sole property of Urbaniacs, Inc.

Urbaniacs, Inc. may publicize, broadcast or otherwise disclose a competitor's name, character, likeness, statements or any submitted materials in advertising or promotional activities concerning a specific contest, or Urbaniacs, Inc. contests generally. Urbaniacs, Inc. may promote or advertise that a winner has won a contest.

Winners are responsible for any and all taxes payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received.

Urbaniacs, Inc. will make any and all final decisions on contest winners at its sole discretion.

All entries are submitted entirely at the risk of the entrant. If there are any difficulties arising out of the contest entry, whether related to technical difficulties, direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise, Urbaniacs, Inc. may at its absolute sole discretion disqualify the entire entry or any portion thereof. You release from, and indemnify Urbaniacs, Inc. against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of any such difficulty and/or disqualification in any contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property.

A failure by Urbaniacs, Inc. to enforce any of these Contest and Sweepstakes General Rules in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim by any person.

Urbaniacs, Inc. may, subject to State regulation, terminate any contest at any time at its absolute discretion. In the event of such termination, Urbaniacs, Inc. may at its absolute sole discretion elect not to award any prize in respect of the terminated contest.

Urbaniacs provides specific Rules of Participation for certain activities on the Site including, without limitation, contests, sweepstakes, and other activities. These Terms and Conditions are incorporated by reference to the activity's specific Rules of Participation. To the extent that any conflict exists between the Site's Terms and Conditions and the activity's specific Rules of Participation, the Rules of Participation for that activity shall govern.

This Agreement and all matters or issues collateral thereto will be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with, the internal laws of the State of California applicable to contracts executed and performed entirely therein (without regard to any principles of conflict of laws). You hereby agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the site shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the County of Los Angeles, in the State of California. Further, you hereby expressly consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.
