well since there's not a lot of players here anymore, it kind of changes the dynamic a bit. but in my day....

....begging for props was never something people liked around here. props were earned. getting props from unexpected urbs was exciting. you got in prop wars with people. you joined a crew and propped each other. you propped somebody after a good trade, battle, competition, or even a well deserved diss. prop a newbie, make them feel welcome. that sort of thing.

props were also returned. kind of unwritten rule - a prop for a prop. maybe more like prop etiquette - don't leave another urb hanging.

but props are never to be expected.
