| | Summer is just around the corner! In honor of that, I'd like to do something I saw on another site. Its called a mosaic.

Basically, each person takes one square (or more if things are slow) and redraws it as something else or shops something in (it should look atleast SOMETHING like the original). Then I take all the pictures and put them back in over the old one and we see what monster we have created. Lets do this! |

This is actually a really cool idea! Do you have a picture of how it went on the other site?
I think since everyone has a different art style and different programs, you would end up with mismatching lines drawn in paint, flash, photoshop, ect. It might be hard to depict the picture. Do you think your idea could still work if each person took a sector or two and did something to it in an editing program? Perhaps add a filter, blur parts, adjust saturation (I think I just described Instagram...)? |
| | Looks like fun. I guess you just paste the whole pic in your editing program to get the exact size of the block?
I can do 2C and 3D.
If only a few people participate, we'll have to divide up the squares so that the same artist doesn't do adjoining pictures. |

@Love Yeah, just paste it in and take the tile you want.
@Euph The different art styles are what makes it fun. Its not supposed to be exactly like the original, just something remotely like it. If we retraced everything perfectly it would look boring in the end.
