This is written for someone who is going thru a tough time - don't give up, and remember to dream.


To those that like to see our pain
To see our tears we cry
Make each our dreams wane
'Cause 'only angels fly'
.
But one day you will see us climb
And bask in our eternal light
And as you look into the sky
you'll see us in mid-flight
.
We'll start out fine along our path
with no thought of a crash
but as you start to watch and laugh
Nervous, we then start to thrash
.
We'll start to dive and swerve.
In our flight, your laughter tears
Falling quickly to the ground observed
Shattering, without a care
.
With hatred you might shoot us down
Or laugh at our sullen dreams
All that's left upon the ground
Is pain and a broken wing
.
Bones can slowly heal.
But hope can't be restored.
And in the end, only pain we'll feel
But at least for once, we soared.....
